My Journey of Learning English
Learning English has been a significant part of my life, and I am proud to say that I have come a long way in this journey. In this self-evaluation, I will reflect on my progress, strengths, and areas for improvement in the English language.
To begin with, I have always been passionate about learning languages, and English is no exception. I believe that my enthusiasm has been a driving force behind my progress. I have dedicated countless hours to studying English, both inside and outside the classroom. I have actively sought out opportunities to practice my English skills through conversations with native speakers, watching English movies and TV shows, and reading English books and articles. Additionally, my writing skills have improved significantly over time. However, I am aware that there are areas in which I can further enhance my English language skills. Firstly, I would like to focus on improving my speaking fluency. Although I can communicate in English without difficulty, there are times when I struggle to find the right words or hesitate during conversations. I believe that with more practice and exposure to spoken English, I can become more confident and fluent in expressing myself orally. Secondly, I aim to strengthen my grammar skills. While I have a good grasp of grammar rules, there are still instances when I make errors. I intend to dedicate more time to studying and practicing grammar exercises to eliminate these mistakes.

I come from Tong Liao, a beautiful city of Inner Mongolia. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Management School of Wuhan University of science and technology in June, 20xx. Now，I am doing my best to obtain an opportunity to further my education in Tianjin University which I have dreamed of for two years. That’s why I feel so excited about talking to you today.
Just as I have said, I graduated from Wuhan University of science and technology. Although it is not well known, I still appreciate it, because it offered me a stage on which I could build my character and develop my abilities. During my college year, I have made rapid and great progress in many areas. As a student, I studied very hard, and was awarded scholarship many times; as a monitor, I worked responsibly and gained positive feedback from teachers and classmates; Working as a Secretary of Party branch, I strived to complete any assignment perfectly. In a word, I grew a lot during the four years to today’s me, an open-minded, responsible and steady person.
