Hello everyone! My name is Lily and I am a first-year student here at this school. I am excited to have the opportunity to introduce myself to all of you today.
I come from a small town in China and I have just moved to this city. It is my first time studying in a big school like this, so I am a little nervous but also very eager to make new friends and learn new things.
In my free time, I enjoy reading books and listening to music. I find reading to be a great way to relax and expand my knowledge. My favorite genres are mystery and fantasy. I love getting lost in the world of imagination and uncovering the secrets within the pages of a thrilling novel. As for music, I enjoy various genres such as pop, rock, and classical. Music has always been a source of inspiration and comfort for me.
In terms of my academic interests, I am particularly interested in science and mathematics. I find the process of solving problems and discovering new concepts to be very rewarding. I hope to pursue a career in a scientific field in the future, perhaps as a researcher or an engineer.
Aside from my academic pursuits, I also enjoy participating in extracurricular activities. I have joined the school's basketball team and I am looking forward to improving my skills and competing against other schools. I believe that sports not only help to keep us physically fit, but they also teach us valuable life lessons such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
