Today is a sunny day. I woke up early in the morning feeling excited because it's the day of our school field trip to the zoo. I quickly got dressed, ate my breakfast, and packed my backpack with some snacks and water.
When I arrived at school, all my classmates were buzzing with excitement. We boarded the bus and off we went to the zoo. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly zookeeper who led us on a tour around the zoo. We saw all kinds of animals like lions, tigers, elephants, and monkeys. I even got to feed a giraffe!
After the tour, we had a picnic lunch in the zoo's picnic area. It was so much fun eating sandwiches and playing games with my friends. We laughed and talked about our favorite animals and our funny experiences during the tour.
In the afternoon, we had some free time to explore the zoo on our own. I visited the penguin exhibit and watched them waddle around. I also saw the giant pandas munching on bamboo. It was such a cool experience being up close to all these amazing animals.
As the day came to an end, we gathered together for a group photo. I will always remember this day as one of the best days of my life. I can't wait for our next school field trip!

Today was a rainy day. I woke up to the sound of raindrops tapping on my window. I felt a little disappointed because I was looking forward to playing outside with my friends after school.
At school, we had indoor recess because of the rain. We played board games and did some arts and crafts. It was fun but I still missed running around and playing tag outside.
During English class, we had a spelling bee competition. I was nervous but I managed to spell all my words correctly. I felt proud of myself for doing well in the competition.
After school, I walked home with my umbrella in hand. I splashed through the puddles and enjoyed the sound of rain all around me. When I got home, I changed into my cozy pajamas and snuggled up with a good book.
Even though it rained all day, I still had a good day. Rainy days can be cozy and relaxing too. I'm grateful for the simple joys of staying indoors and spending time with my family. I'm looking forward to a sunny day tomorrow and playing outside with my friends again.
