Day 1
Today, I embarked on a journey to Hangzhou, a city known for its beautiful West Lake, lush greenery, and rich cultural history. As I stepped off the train, I was immediately struck by the bustling energy of the city and the warm hospitality of the locals.
After checking into my hotel, I wasted no time in heading to West Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has inspired poets and artists for centuries. The lake was truly a sight to behold, with its serene waters reflecting the surrounding pagodas and bridges. I took a leisurely boat ride around the lake, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and admiring the blooming lotus flowers.
In the evening, I wandered through the historic Hefang Street, a lively pedestrian street lined with shops selling traditional Chinese crafts and snacks. I couldn't resist trying some local delicacies, such as crispy fried dumplings and sweet osmanthus cake.
Day 2
Today, I explored the ancient Lingyin Temple, one of the most famous Buddhist temples in China. The temple was a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling city, with intricate carvings and statues depicting scenes from Buddhist mythology. I lit incense sticks and offered prayers for good fortune and happiness.
Afterwards, I hiked up the lush green hills surrounding the temple, enjoying the fresh mountain air and panoramic views of Hangzhou below. I stumbled upon a hidden waterfall cascading down the rocks, its soothing sound providing a moment of tranquility in the midst of nature.
In the evening, I treated myself to a traditional Chinese tea ceremony at a local teahouse. The tea master skillfully prepared different varieties of tea, explaining the history and health benefits of each one. I sipped on fragrant Longjing tea, feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after a day of exploring Hangzhou's cultural treasures.
As I reflect on my first two days in Hangzhou, I am grateful for the opportunity to immerse myself in the city's rich history and natural beauty. I can't wait to see what adventures tomorrow will bring.

I wandered through the lush tea plantations, where local farmers were busy picking the delicate tea leaves by hand. The air was filled with the sweet aroma of freshly brewed tea, and I couldn't resist buying a bag of Longjing tea to bring home as a souvenir.
Afterwards, I visited the China National Tea Museum, where I learned about the history and cultural significance of tea in Chinese society. I participated in a tea tasting session, sampling different varieties of tea and learning about the proper brewing techniques.
In the afternoon, I took a leisurely bike ride along the scenic Qiantang River, enjoying the peaceful countryside and distant views of the city skyline. I passed by traditional villages with tiled roofs and blooming gardens, feeling a sense of serenity and connection to nature.

杭州之旅 A Visit to Hangzhou
It was my first visit to Hangzhou. In one and a half days, I hurried through more than ten scenic spots. The West Lake in spring is gracefully pleasant, its beauty unparallelled. Walking along the lake, I saw willows bowing in shiness. The water is so blue. The pavilions throw their shadows in the water. What is most impressive is the blooming peach flowers vying with each other in showing their beauty. The tea bushes, the screens and quiet bamboos are left in my memory.
