Hello everyone,
My name is Lily and I am from China. I am delighted to have the opportunity to introduce myself to all of you.
First of all, let me tell you a little bit about my background. I was born and raised in a small city in China. I come from a family of four – my parents, my younger brother, and me. My father is a businessman and my mother is a teacher. They have always been supportive and have encouraged me to pursue my dreams.
I am currently a senior student at a university in Beijing, majoring in English. I have always been passionate about learning languages, and English has been my favorite subject since I was a child. I enjoy reading English literature and watching English movies. I believe that learning a language is not only about mastering grammar and vocabulary, but also about immersing oneself in the culture and lifestyle of the native speakers.
Apart from my academic pursuits, I have also been involved in various extracurricular activities. I am a member of the university's debate club, where I have honed my public speaking and critical thinking skills. I have also participated in several volunteer programs, where I had the opportunity to help underprivileged children improve their English language skills.
In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano and painting. Music and art are my outlets for creativity and self-expression. They allow me to relax and unwind after a long day of studying.
In the future, I hope to become an English teacher and help students develop a love for the language, just like my own teachers did for me. I believe that education is the key to a better future, and I want to contribute to making that future brighter for others.
