When we arrived at the zoo, we were divided into groups and assigned a teacher to guide us. My group consisted of my best friends, Lily and Tom. We eagerly followed our teacher, Ms. Smith, to our first stop - the lion enclosure.
The moment we reached the lion enclosure, we were greeted by the loud roar of the majestic lion. It sent shivers down my spine, but I was also in awe of its power and beauty. We watched as the lion paced back and forth, occasionally stopping to gaze at the visitors. It was truly a sight to behold.
Next, we moved on to the monkey enclosure. The mischievous monkeys swung from branch to branch, playing and chasing each other. I couldn't help but giggle at their antics. One cheeky monkey even tried to snatch my friend Tom's hat! We all burst into laughter as Tom playfully chased the monkey around.
After that, we visited the giraffe exhibit. The giraffes were tall and elegant, gracefully munching on leaves from the trees. It was fascinating to see their long necks and beautiful patterns. We were lucky enough to be able to feed them some lettuce leaves, and it felt amazing to be so close to these gentle giants.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the dolphin show. We sat in the stadium and eagerly awaited the performance. The dolphins appeared, flipping and twirling in the water with such grace and precision. They even splashed water at the audience, making us all laugh and cheer. It was a truly mesmerizing experience.
As the day came to an end, we reluctantly made our way back to the bus. Although I was tired, I couldn't stop smiling as I reflected on the amazing day I had at the zoo. It was a day filled with laughter, wonder, and unforgettable moments. I am grateful for the opportunity to have gone on this adventure and can't wait for the next one!

The weather is very hot today, the blue sky and the white clouds are very pretty, the mountain is covered by the green trees. I look up and see a heart- shaped cloud on the sky, it moves slowly, but soon, it is already gone. I never remember the date if I don’t write the diary, now is the seventh day of the August, and let’s begin my diary today.
Well I’m thinking what I can write today? I surfed the Internet a moment ago and—guess what—nothing happened, there were nobody that I wanted—like dear Du, or Wang—on the QQ , it’s terrible! I’m so boring and no one can bring me happiness? Oh my!
Today I read a book, it tells a story of a lion’s life. The cover of the book is a cute little lion, it has black, round eyes and very lovely hair, even its teeth were soooooooooo cool. I read the book and then—I want to buy a little cute lion for me! Oh, the lion is sooooo lovely, it is even cuter than my little cousin.
And now, let’s talk about the plants. I love the green, pretty plants, it let me feel very good. My mom like plants too, she also buys plants sometimes, but most of them, in my house, were died. It’s a blue story you know… Well, at Hong Kong, there’s a teacher who loves planting, she plants many flowers and herbs(草本植物), like aloes（芦荟）, Phalaenopsis（蝴蝶兰）, and one of the plants even grow a new fern（蕨类）.
Ok, the diary is over today, and I will write less tomorrow.
