英语是我最头疼的了，每次的英语课都是紧张的。今天又要抽背课文了。今天背的是Unit 6 Holidays，Miss Gu首先进行“海选”：“背得的上来！一人背一句，背不出来的淘汰！坐在下面的不许出声音！”不到一分钟，讲台前就站满了选手，他们气势如虹，踌躇满志，过关在望。
接下来就开始“闯关”：第一位选手快速地背出第一句话，快得像是正在“快进”的录像带。哇，我们的张惠选手真是聪明，站在最边上，这样背得最少！有的选手支支吾吾没回过神来，被“裁判员”当场喝下去；杭佑威、薛芷含、韩意……倒背如流，强人哪。（其实很简单，抄几遍就能背得滚瓜烂熟了）糟糕，吴志程选手出现了状况！他因平时说话结巴，现在连背课文也结巴。好险，这一句很短，吴志程艰苦卓绝地背完了。但是最倒霉的还要数那些一紧张就忘词的选手，被“裁判员”取消比赛资格，回到座位上，等下一轮的选拔，那叫一个悲催！不过这种人数较少，只占10%左右。幸好，其他90%的选手过关！被淘汰的选手，正在懊恼：为什么忘词了呢？

“叮铃铃···”，讨厌的上课铃声在我们游戏时响起了，我们只好乖乖地走进了教室，开始上下一节英语课。
“今天，我们要进行一场拼词比赛·····”，肖老师的话还没说完，就引来了同学们的一阵窃窃私语声。“啊？完了，今天我什么也没准备呀！”“就是就是，这下我肯定死惨了。”我的心里也在暗暗发慌，虽然我在这个班里的英语成绩还算是比较好的，可我手心里还是沁出了汗。
比赛开始了。好在和我组队一起参加比赛的一位同学也是班里的尖子生，我的心慢慢地平静了下来。
一开始的几个单词都很简单，还不到一分钟，我和那位同学的分数就遥遥领先了。可就是这时，又轮我上场了。白板上打出来的那个单词有点长，而且在我脑中没什么印象。完了，完了，这下我拼
不出来了。我想。面对老师的.提问，我一直“嗯，嗯···”的小声应着，脑海里则快速地回想着这个单词。
“d，d，d……在想不出来，只好开始倒计时了：“5，4，3，2……”这“1”还没出口，我突然灵光一现，脱口而出：“dentist！d，e，n，t，i，s，t！”肖老师给了我一个赞许的目光，我顿时松了口气，脸也不红了。“耶！”我开心地喊道，还跟同学击一下掌，小小地庆祝了一下。
时间一分一秒地过去了，我们在后面的比赛都很顺利。比赛终于结束了，分数评出来，当然是我们这一组取得了优胜，肖老师还发给我们一人一块橡皮当奖品呢。

开始考试了，我来到考场，独自面对马克老师。老师开始提问了，第一题、第二题、第三题……题目问完了，我回到教室，看着同学们一张张紧张的脸，我的心也跟着紧张起来。
考试结束了，马克老师拿着纸进来了，这张纸上写着我们的分数。老师说：“我们班有一名同学考了一百分”。
