糖人的原材料就是糖稀，你们知道糖稀又是怎么做的吗？是先准备一百克的白砂糖，再准备比白砂糖多一倍的水，也就是二百克，然后把白砂糖和水一起倒入锅里加热，用勺子一直搅拌，直到没有颗粒为止，变成粘稠状即可。最后把它放入碟子里冷却才可食用。
糖人可以做成千姿百态，主要靠吹和捏，只要技艺高超，想要什么就做成什么样的。
吹糖人技艺是在六百多年前传到现在的，吹糖人的祖师爷是刘伯温，现在到北方地区应该能看到很多人卖这个的。以前就是在爷爷奶奶这一代，就有特别多的人卖这个，靠这个养家。因为当时和现在不同，以前非常穷，没有钱，一般只会做这个。现在也有卖的，但是现在卖的非常贵，也许是“物以稀为贵”吧！
