我的家乡——芜湖最近建造了一座公园，它就是滨江公园，依偎在江畔，今天我闲来无事，就去逛了一番。
滨江公园的广场喷泉的壮观场面首先吸引了我，只见水柱高低错落地喷出许多图岸，令人惊叹不已，其中最高的水柱可以喷到八十米，令周围的楼层十分逊色。来到江边的亲水*台，凭栏远眺，江面上，滚滚江水向岸边卷来，客轮繁忙地来回穿梭。隐约可以看见对岸的一条由树林组成的防护带。沿着江岸往下游走，只见坡下有一片翠绿的竹林，在寒风中依然挺拔。竹林旁有一个小型的儿童游乐场，里面是一群天真的小朋友在兴奋地玩着滑梯、软绳等各种器材，我也加入了他们的队伍，尽情地玩耍。
在游乐场里玩够了，我又走上了临江桥。桥的右边有用玻璃铺上的一块地方，桥下面是水景墙，人走在上面时，如果往下看，总会觉得自己快要掉进冰凉刺骨的水里，走在上面有如履薄冰的感觉。晚上，墙上的彩灯大放异彩，池中的水就会变得五彩缤纷，在池边，眼中会充满绚丽的颜色，感觉自己正在色彩的世界里快乐地遨游。桥的左边是一排商铺的门面，我仿佛看到这里吃喝玩乐应有尽有，逛街的人络绎不绝、连续不断的热闹景象，八号码头曾经的繁荣又呈现在我的眼前。
