虽然说我们英语协会的发展状况良好， 但其中存在的问题也是不容忽视的：
1、很多人的积极性下降， 尽管会长方面很积极，但下面的却有点懈怠，一方面由于期末临近， 大家忙于考试，无法再专心工作，对此表示理解。另一方面是经过了高强度的工作后产生畏惧心理， 在思想上出现了懈怠、甚至想退会的苗头。
2、协会的奖罚措施不完善，可以说几乎没有。骨干表现未能及时得到记录和反应，平常会议不参加，甚至从未到场过。这使有些循规蹈矩的人产生抵触与不满情绪。这是我们以后工作中应该重视的一个点。相信在我们会长们， 部长们， 干事的共同努力下， 我们协会的发展会越来越好， 协会的人员都能从中学到东西，真真从中学到点东西。
3、协会各方面制度和部门的却不够灵活，配合不过默契。
综上所述，我们协会的发展较之以前有了很大的进步，但发展中又存在着必然会存在的隐患， 需要我们不断的总结提高。
于我个人而言， 这一学期， 我学到了了更多为人处事的方法， 我懂得了人无完人， 但我同时也知道了， 人永远都有进步的空间， 只要你朝着正确的方向努力， 只要你无悔地付出，坚持不懈地走， 幸运之神最终会降临在你身边！

为了贯彻落实《基础教育课程改革纲要》精神，激发广大学生学习英语的兴趣，提高他们语言实际运用能力，我们着手建立英语口语社团。英语口语社团活动是英语课堂活动的补充和延伸，它着力于培养学生对英语口语的兴趣。它与课堂活动相比更具灵活性、可塑性。我们本着自愿参加，并在此基础上任课老师精心挑选的原则（每班限选2名学生）组建初一和初二英语口语社团。
一、活动目的：
通过活动，使学生的特长得到更好的发展，进一步提高学生语音语调的准确性，提高学生的口头表达能力及表演能力，并随时做好参与南通市及江苏省英语口语电视比赛的准备。
二、活动要求：
每个年级英语口语社团活动人数不宜过多，大约50名左右。活动固定，每周一次，活动制度化。遇到有特殊情况择日进行，不轻易暂停。参加成员坚持自愿报名，精心制定活动计划，保证活动的深度、广度和密度。要求如下：
1、组织学生按时参加活动；
2、每周二下午第四节课进行社团活动，小组成员必须准时到达指定教室；
3、小组成员应严格遵守纪律，不准在教室大声喧哗，破坏、损坏教室的财产；
4、每次老师布置的口语练习，所有社团成员都应积极参与完成。
三、活动目标

在学生自愿报名参加的基础上，各班要挑选有一定英语口语基础、成绩好的学生参加，每班限报2人。要选出有工作能力、成绩也好的学生担任组长，以便开展协进学习，增加每个成员的英语口语训练机会。
2、所有的培训教师都要认真负责，把它看成是学校英语活动的重要组成部分，使社团活动开展得生动、活泼、丰富。
总之，开展英语口语社团活动，使之规范化、制度化、防止一阵风、形式主义，真正使参与学生学有所得，我们每个老师都要付出很大的努力，勤于思考，大胆实践，最大限度地调动学生的积极性，将英语口语社团活动开展得丰富多彩、富有实验中学的特色。
