key accountabilities
? this is a hands-on operational and engineering role that involves understanding and managing the hardware and software solutions that provide enterprise storage (san and nas) and backup services for applications across the enterprise.
? 24 x 7 support and maintenance of the infrastructure, participation in ‘on-call’ rota and out of hours work.
? develop and deliver service automation at every opportunity to remove manual tasks, assist with integration, improve operational flexibility, provide solution agility and greater awareness on the state of enterprise storage and backup services.
? storage and backup capacity planning and utilisation reporting.
? assist in defining metrics, monitoring and reports from any tools deployed in the environments.
