一、指导思想
本学期我校英语教研组工作以本校教育教学工作计划为依据,以提高本校英语教研、教学质量为目标,提高教师的学习意识、服务意识、质量意识、合作意识和教科研意识。以校本研究为主要方式,继续落实教学常规、优化教学过程、全面提高英语教师的课堂教学水平及业务能力。开展实效、和谐的教研活动,探究科学有效的课堂教学形式,结合本教研组的实际情况和学生的英语学习状况,改进以往做得不够好的地方,为进一步提高我校的英语教学质量而扎实工作。
二、工作目标
1.提高英语教学质量,确保大多数学生,尤其是后进生的英语成绩得到提高,英语实际使用能力得到发展;
2.以小班化课程改革为契机,细化、优化各项常规工作,抓实英语学科教学常规。
3.与信息技术整合,熟练运用多媒体技术辅助教学;

三、本学期主要工作及措施
进一步加强理论学习,更新教学理念
为了更好地更新观念,转变行为,全体英语教师必须认真研读《英语课程标准》及其解读等理论书籍和相关杂志、文章等。全体英语教师都要抽出时间学习新理论,以先进的教育理念指导自己的教育教学实践。本学期要学习有关有效教学、小班化、信息技术以及改进评价内容和评价方法的资料,努力做到关注学生学习成绩的同时,还要关注学生情感态度、行为方式的发展,注重培养学生综合实践的能力,全面提高学生的素质。
2.进一步有序、规范、高效地组织开展教研活动
教研组活动力求做到计划先行、科学安排、内容充实、组织规范、成效显著,教研组活动记录详实。
(1)多开展英语教研活动,开展公开课、听说评课活动,通过课堂教学的研讨活动来促进课堂教学不断优化。本学期仍继续做好常态课、公开课、互相听课、互相评课工作,取长补短,使教研组全体英语教师能够共同提高、人人受益。每位教师一学期上一节公开课,定时间、定课题,要求按时完成。
(2)写教学反思
对自己的教学不断反思,才会有不断的进步。因此根据自己的实际课堂教学情况,提倡多进行教后反思。要求每一课时写一次教学反思和心得,要有质量,避免空话套话。

开展以“实施有效教学”和“常规内容”为主题的校本教研。以落实课标、用好教材为基础,以实施有效课堂教学为重点,让教师立足实践,提出问题、分析问题、不断反思。根据新要求,做好以下三个方面的工作:

(2)上课:本着“向四十分钟要质量”这一原则,要求教师大胆改革课堂教学模式,积极探索自主学习、合作学习、探究学习的新路子,注重因材施教,努力提高教学效率和教学质量。
(3)作业布置与批改:作业布置要适度适量,务求实效,作业批改要细致,采取等级制加激励性评语,切实发挥其检查、反馈和提高的功能,学生作业出现的错误,督促纠正,并有二次批改,严禁以罚做作业来变相体罚学生。总之,坚持备好每一节课,上好每一堂课,批好每一本作业。
4.改进课堂教学。本学期继续推进课堂教学的探索
(1)确立课堂教学思路:着眼于培养学生综合语言运用能力,通过创设合理的教学情景,引导学生在模拟或真实交际中理解、模仿和运用语言;充分运用实物、图片、手势、直观教具和表演等方法,生动活泼地进行英语教学。
(2)采用以活动课为主的教学模式,突出在活动中学、练、用,强调用语言做事,每个活动的展开要有情景,有语言,有过程,有结果。任务型的活动可以适当渗透其中。

做好培优补差工作,缩小“两极分化”现象
(1) 严格遵守英语教学规律,重视听、说能力的培养,同时,坚持精讲多练,为每位学生提供发言机会。
(2) 结合各班实际,认真研究教材,制定切实可行的教学方法。特别注意面向全体,随时调整教学方法与模式,提出的问
题要注意深浅结合、因人而异,使每位学生都能听懂每一节课,回答好教师提出的每一个问题,做好每一道适合自己的习题,从而増强学习英语的信心,顺利完成教学计划。
(3)对学习困难生要加倍关心、特殊爱护,耐心辅导差生,耐心解答他们学习疑难问题,使之掌握有效的学习策略。采用“一帮一”优生帮差生的形式,定期反馈教学效果,让每位学生真正产生亲近感,有利于师生间的情感交流、教学和谐。
(4)增加与家长交流的机会,及时了解学生在家学习情况,并做好反馈记录,争取得到家长的支持与配合。
开展英语课外活动,提高学习兴趣
(1)为了激发学生学习英语的激情,针对各年级学生学习能力不同的情况,组织学生开展英语书法展示、说唱歌谣、表演英语情景剧,唱英语歌曲。并适时地对成绩领先的班级和个人进行多种形式的表扬和鼓励。
(2)发挥教师的带头作用,加强英语文明礼貌问候,推进学校英语文化氛围建设。
