一、指导思想：
以学校总体工作为依据，以提高教研质量和教学质量为目标，深入研究教学中存在的问题，精心营造有利于学生健康成长的学习环境，提高学习效率，促进教学质量的提高；增强教师的学习意识、教科研意识、合作意识。
二、工作思路
1、教学目标：培养兴趣，加强学法指导、抓落实，稳固提高教学质量。 七年级:在搞好中小学衔接的基础上,进一步培养兴趣，强化基础; 八年级:在稳固现有成绩的基础上,强化培优补差，进一步提升质量; 九年级:在总结反思的基础上,挖掘潜力,查缺补漏，着力加强学法指导和能力培养，抓好中考复习、听力考试，为实现20XX年中考的新突破打好基础.
2、教研目标：组织进行校内外的教学研究活动，组织老师上研究课、示范课，同构异课等。通过研讨、评课等形式，做好课后反思,使本组教师理论与实践水平共同提高。组织全体英语教师积极参加学校的'教科研活动，并积极开展各项活动，尤其是英语的课改活动。
