所谓翻译就是基于原作品的意思进行再创造，在这种再创造的过程中，翻译的主体会不由自主地将自己的翻译风格带入作品中，从而会出现同一原作有不同韵味的译文。本文阐述了译者如何在保持原作原汁原味的情况下，运用自己的翻译风格，强化原作所表达的意思，使译文与原作达到高度的统一。

翻译是将一种相对陌生的表达方式，转换成相对熟悉的表达方式的过程。其内容有语言、文字、图形、符号的翻译。是增强促进人们社会交流发展的重要手段。其中，“翻”是指对交谈的语言转换，“译”是指对单向陈述的语言转换。翻译者处在翻和译之间，其重要性是显而易见的。译者的文化素质，甚至是思维情感都会影响到其对原作的理解，而译者的语言习惯、语言能力及采用何种译法都会影响到译文的效果。长久以来，翻译界都以严复的“信、达、雅”作为衡量译文好坏的标准，译者们也以此来规范自己的翻译风格，以求将原作的意思用另一种语言更好地呈现出来。
一、何为译者风格

二、译者风格的多样性
从理论上讲，翻译就是将一种语言等量转化成另一种语言的过程，等量即为等值，译者的任务就是使译作在内容、文体及风格上与原作保持高度一致。但是傅雷曾经说过：“即使是最优秀的译文，其韵味较之原文仍不免过或不及。翻译时只能尽量缩短这个距离，过则求其勿太过，不及则求其勿过于不及。”可见，在多数情况下，译文也只能做到与原作相似，而做不到完全一致。
(1)不同的翻译方法反映出不同的译者风格
翻译标准决定着译者采取什么样的翻译方法，而不同的翻译方法就会使译作展现出不同的文体风格。有的译者为了使译作更加贴切原作而采用直译的方法，而有的译者就选择意译的翻译方法使译作呈现出完全不同于原作的风格形式，也有些译者在译作中交替使用直译和意译的方法，使译作充分体现出译者的翻译风格及习惯。由此可见，不同的方法，不同的风格，译者风格的发挥是大有用武之地的。
(2)译者风格的互补
只要是翻译都具有科学风格和艺术风格，科学风格偏向于逻辑思维，而艺术风格偏向于思想感情。这两种风格完美结合融入的译作是真正的艺术品，一件译作既能表达出原作的中心思想，又能使这种思想融入译者感情，这样的译作自然会引起读者的共鸣。
三、怎样正确体现译者风格
(1)追求原作风格与译者风格的统一
从辩证的观点出发，原作风格与译者风格是矛盾的两个对立体。尽管在很大程度上，译者风格依附原作风格存在，但是，作为译作的润色剂，译者风格又是相对独立的。一件译作，既要保持原作风格，又要体现译者的个人风格，就需要作为翻译主体的译者发挥其个人主观能动性，使二者达到高度统一。方梦之在其《译者就是译者》一文中曾经说过“在翻译的过程中，译者将原作提供的表象材料、知识经验
等，凭着理智与直觉，组合成富有情感色彩的审美形象体系，然后把它再现出来。在这个过程中，译者的部分心理要素特征与风格特征与原作碰撞而需自我克制，而另一部分心理要素与风格特征顺应原作者和原作得以舒展，因而可同时表现出原着风格和翻译个性。”因此，追求原作风格与译者风格的统一对于翻译作品是非常重要的，译者应该缩小与原作风格的距离，避免其风格与原作风格背道而驰。
(2)译者应该重视个人风格的追求
翻译的目标就是忠实地再现原作，所谓忠实就是指在另一种语言和环境中尽可能的接近原作及原作的风格。译者的主观性决定着译作的生命，而译者风格正是译者主观性完整的体现。所以，我们不能一味地追求忠于原作而排斥译者风格，更不能否定它在译作中的重要作用。大家都知道，优秀的翻译家都拥有自己独特的翻译风格，而这种独特的风格绝非一朝一夕就能够练就，而是在长期的翻译实践中累积起来的。我们所追求的个人风格也绝不是个人感想
的随意发挥，而是在适当的空间内，充分发挥主观能动性及创造性，最终实现个人风格的展现。显然，译者个人风格的形成与培养是要付出辛苦劳动的，所以，我们应该重视译者个人风格的追求，并且尊重译者的这种主观性及其背后的努力。
