Title: Reflection on The Little Prince - Part One

After reading The Little Prince, I was deeply moved by the profound messages conveyed through the simple yet enchanting story. This novella, written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, has touched the hearts of readers across generations with its timeless wisdom.

The story revolves around a little prince who travels from planet to planet, encountering various characters who symbolize different aspects of human nature. Through these encounters, the author explores themes such as the importance of imagination, the nature of love, and the pursuit of happiness.

One aspect that struck me the most was the emphasis on the power of imagination. The little prince encourages us to never lose our childlike wonder and to view the world with open eyes. He teaches us that what is essential is invisible to the eye, and that true beauty lies in the heart. This message resonated with me deeply, as it reminded me of the importance of cherishing the simple joys in life and appreciating the beauty that surrounds us.

Furthermore, the novella explores the nature of love and relationships. Through the little prince's encounters with characters such as the fox and the rose, we learn about the complexities of human connections. The fox teaches him that true bonds are created through time, trust, and understanding. This reminded me of the importance of nurturing relationships and investing time and effort into building meaningful connections with others.

Lastly, The Little Prince delves into the pursuit of happiness. The little prince encounters characters who are obsessed with power, wealth, and appearances, but ultimately finds that these pursuits do not bring true fulfillment. Instead, he learns that happiness comes from within and is found in the simple things in life, such as a sunset, a starry night, or the laughter of a friend. This message served as a powerful reminder to focus on what truly matters and to prioritize experiences and relationships over material possessions.

In conclusion, The Little Prince is a remarkable literary work that speaks to the human spirit and offers valuable life lessons. It reminds us to embrace our imagination, cherish our relationships, and seek happiness in the simple joys of life. This book has left an indelible mark on my heart, and I believe it will continue to inspire and touch the lives of readers for generations to come.

小王子英语读后感:

the little prince, the pilot, the rose, the fox, the snake, etc.

Despite I’ve not in my childhood yet, I still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. the tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. This summer I’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940. It’s the world-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The Little Prince.

As many other fairy-talethe outline of The Little Prince is not very complex. “I”, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acq

uaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612. The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.

On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd. Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth.

小王子英语读后感:

Once when I was six years old, I saw a magnificent picture in a book, called True Stories from Nature, about the primeval forest. It was a picture of a boa constrictor in the act of swallowing an animal. Here is a copy of the drawing.

In the book it said:" Boa constrictors swallow their prey whole, without chewing it. After that they are not able to move, and they sleep through the six months that they need for digestion."

I pondered deeply, then, over the adventures of the jungle. And after some work with a colored pencil I succeeded in making my first drowing,My Drawing Number One. It looked like this:

I showed my masterpiece to the grown-ups, and asked them whether the drawing frightened them.

But they answered:"Frighten? Why should any one be frightened by a hat?"

My drawing was not a picture of a hat. It was a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant. But since the grown-ups were not able to understand it, I made another drawing: I drew the inside of the boa constrictor,so that the grown-ups could see it clearly. They always need to have things explained. My Drawing Number Two looked like this:

The grown-ups response, this time, was to adviseme to lay aside my drawing of boa constrictors, whether from the inside or the outside and devote myself instead to geography, history, arithmetic and grammar. That is why, at the age of six, I gave up what might have been a magnificent career as a painter. I had been disheartened by the failure of my Drawing Number One and my Drawing Number Two. Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it si tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them.

So then I chose another profession, and learned to pilot airplanes.

I have flown a little over all parts of the world:and it is ture that geography has been very useful to me. At a glance I can distinguish China from Arizona. If one gets lost in the night, such knowledge is valuable.
