我方认为学生干部应注重品德而不是能力的原因有四点。
01. 品德是做人的根本。品德一词由来已久。早在两千多年以前,我国古代的著
作中就出现了“道德”这个词语。“道”表示事物运动变化的规则;“德”表示对“道”认识之后,按照它的规则把人与人之间的关系处理得当。从中国儒家的创始人,伟大的思想家、教育家孔子开始,千百年来.———“道德是做人的根本”。陶行知反复强调:“道德是做人的根本。根本一坏,纵然是你有—些学问和本领,也无甚用处;并且,没有道德的人,学问和本领愈大,为非作恶愈大。
道德是一个人灵魂的力量、精神的支柱、事业成功的基础。一个人具备了崇高的道德,就能像徐特立那样,冒着生命危险参加革命,就能“革命第一,工作第一,他人第一”;有了崇高的'道德,就能像时传祥那样“宁可一人脏,换来万家净”;有了崇高的道德,就能像雷锋那样,在平凡的工作岗位上,为人民做出不平凡的贡献。
中华民族视“道德”为“生长万物、“蓄养万物”之根本,“道生之,德蓄之,物形之,势成之,是以万物莫不尊道而贵德”。“惟贤惟德,能服于人”,不患位之不尊,而患德之不崇
02. 良好的道德是学生必备的素质。

03.良好和谐的道德是社会进步的助推器。
道德教育是我国的传统教育模式,是我国德治的基本内容。作为有着悠久文明、文化历史的中国,几千年不衰,根本取决于我们民族骨子里的以优秀道德传统支撑着的民族精神,这最终源于道德的教育。
道德能够影响经济基础的形成、巩固和发展;道德对其他社会意识形态的存在和发展有着重大的影响;道德是影响社会生产力发展的一种重要的精神力量;道德通过调整人们之间的关系维护社会秩序和稳定;道德是提高人的精神境界、促进人的自我完善、推动人的全面发展的内在动力;在阶级社会中,道德是阶级斗争的重要工具
04. 优秀的品德是学生干部应有的品德和修养。
学生干部为人处事的根本,也是做好工作的根本条件。要必须拥有良好的思想品德。它是在世界观、人生观指导下形成的。要与人为善、宽厚待人。我们生活在社会中,与各种各样的人在一起学习、工作和生活。如果关系处理得恰当、合谐,工作就会很顺利。学生干部工作的对象是极其复杂而敏感的青年,尤其需要与人为善,宽厚待人的思想品德。要克已奉公,诚实守信。学生干部要努力做到集体利益第一,他人利益第一,先人后已,助人为乐。反之,则会在社会中受到鄙视。共青学生干部的心里应当时时想到党的利益、人民的利益、青年的需要,摒弃自私自利的心理,时刻把温暖送给别人。
要注重养成高尚的道德情操。学生干部具有高尚的道德情操是发挥其榜样作用的重要因素,也是为人处事的准则,是顺利开展工作的重要条件。因此,在实际工作中,学生干部要加强自我修养和自我改造。工作中大事讲原则,小事讲风格,求大同,存小异,互谅互让,宽宏大量。不可落井下石,幸灾乐祸。因而,学生干部应成为团员青年的表率,以自己的模范行为去感染、带动同学。
圣人常说:无能无德谓之庸人,有能无德谓之小人,有德无能谓之君子,德能兼备谓之圣人。
我们不期待班干部是一位圣人,但最少要是位谦谦君子,尤其不能容忍一个小人担任如此重要的位置。
作为一个官只要不违法犯罪,心中装着百姓(老师、同学),至少他会是个好官,能力在于锻炼,我们必须要在有德的基础上培养人才,这才是学校的任务,这才是我们学生应做的事情。
有德无能,我们可以一起出谋划策、一起奋斗,众人拾柴火焰高,但是班干部必须能把握方向,不做错事;有能无德,我们必将被其利用,利用手中的权力。。。。。
古人就曾说过:以德立人,以德服人。综上所述,我方认为学生干部应该以德为主,能力次之。
