Today is the Lantern Festival, also known as Yuanxiao Festival, one of the most important traditional festivals in China. As a primary school student, I had a wonderful time celebrating this special day.
In the morning, our school organized a series of activities to celebrate the Lantern Festival. We gathered in the playground and watched a traditional lion dance performance. The lion dancers wore colorful costumes and moved to the beat of the drums, creating an exciting and festive atmosphere. I was mesmerized by their skillful moves and bright costumes.
After the lion dance, we had a lantern-making competition. Each class was given materials like colored paper, glue, and scissors to create their own lantern. My classmates and I worked together to come up with a unique design for our lantern. We decided to make a rabbit-shaped lantern in honor of the Year of the Rabbit. It was so much fun working together and seeing our creation come to life.
In the afternoon, we had a lantern parade around the school. Each class carried their lanterns and paraded around the playground, showing off their creations. The school was filled with the soft glow of colorful lanterns, creating a magical and festive atmosphere. I was proud to show off our class's rabbit lantern to everyone.
To end the day, we gathered in the school auditorium for a special Yuanxiao Festival feast. We enjoyed delicious rice dumplings, sweet tangyuan, and crispy spring rolls. The food was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating!
Overall, I had a fantastic time celebrating the Lantern Festival at school. I enjoyed watching the lion dance, making lanterns with my classmates, and parading around the school with our creations. The Lantern Festival is truly a special time for family and friends to come together and celebrate. I can't wait to celebrate it again next year!

Today is the Lantern Festival, a traditional Chinese festival that marks the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations. As a primary school student, I had a memorable time celebrating this special day with my classmates.
In the morning, our school organized a cultural performance to celebrate the Lantern Festival. We watched a traditional dragon dance, where performers moved in rhythm to the beat of drums and cymbals. The colorful dragon was so majestic as it weaved through the crowd, captivating everyone's attention. I was amazed by the coordination and skill of the dancers.
After the dragon dance, we had a lantern riddle game. Lantern riddles are a popular tradition during the Lantern Festival, where riddles are written on lanterns for people to solve. My classmates and I formed teams and tried to solve as many riddles as we could. It was challenging but also a lot of fun, as we worked together to decipher the tricky riddles.
In the afternoon, we participated in a lantern-making workshop. We were given materials like red paper, glue, and scissors to create our own lanterns. I chose to make a traditional red lantern with intricate patterns and designs. It was a bit tricky to put together, but with the help of my classmates, I was able to create a beautiful lantern that I was proud of.
To end the day, we had a lantern parade around the school grounds. Each class carried their lanterns and paraded around the playground, creating a colorful and festive scene. The Lantern Festival, of course, in the morning should eat a bowl of steaming hot dumplings. Dumplings made with sticky dough rub, powder white, thin, on the pot steamed for a while. Cooked dumplings, like a lovely baby. A bite, very hot hot black sesame roll like water flowing into the lungs and mouth is filled with thick sesame flavor, emotions and thoughts on the tip of the tongue with that kind of sweet honey and taste, represents a HeHeMuMu life.

I'm thinking of, an old man raised his hand, replied: "is a 'or' word." The host and smiling said: "congratulations to you, right." The words sound just fell and around there was a thunderous applause.
The Lantern Festival, the boisterous festival, in the laughter of people in the end.
