本周四就是中国的传统节目端午节了,我们的传统节日一般是按照阴历来过节的,阴历用英语怎么说呢?除了阴历还有什么历法呢?
全世界现在比较通用的是公历。英文叫做Gregorian calendar,直译就是格里历,是由罗马教皇格里高利十三世(不是派克哈)在1582年开始实行的。
在1582年之前,西方主要使用的是儒略历(Julian calendar),是由罗马统帅儒略·恺撒在埃及亚历山大的希腊数学家兼天文学家索西琴尼的帮助下制订的。不过因为这种历法掺杂了一些宗教因素,导致一些非常时期闰年不能被正常宣布,所以和太阳运行的规律慢慢发生了偏离。
