Agreement for International Collaboration on Environmental Conservation
This agreement is made on this day, between the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States of America and the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of India, with the aim of fostering collaboration on environmental conservation efforts.
1. Purpose:
The purpose of this agreement is to promote joint efforts in addressing environmental challenges faced by both countries, including but not limited to climate change, air and water pollution, and biodiversity loss.
2. Scope of Collaboration:

3. Responsibilities of Parties:
The Environmental Protection Agency of the United States of America and the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of India will designate focal points to coordinate activities under this agreement. 4. Funding and Resources:
Each party will be responsible for securing funding and resources for their respective contributions to collaborative projects. However, both parties may seek external funding or partnerships to support joint initiatives.
5. Duration and Review:
This agreement will be in effect for a period of five years, with the option to renew upon mutual agreement. A joint review will be conducted annually to assess progress and make any necessary adjustments to the collaboration.
6. Confidentiality:

Force Majeure:

er party shall not be held responsible for failure or delay to perform all or any part of this agreement due to flood, fire, earthquake, draught, war or any other events which could not be predicted, controlled, avoided or overcome by the relative party. However, the party affected by the event of Force Majeure shall inform the other party of its occurrence in writing as soon as possible and thereafter send a certificate of the event issued by the relevant authorities to the other party within 15 days after its occurrence.
