3A Unit7 Would you like a pie? 篇一
In Unit 7 of Yilin Primary School English 3A, the topic is about food and drinks. One of the main focuses is on the question "Would you like a pie?" In this unit, students learn how to express their preferences and make polite requests.
The unit starts with a story about a family having a picnic. The mother asks her children if they would like a pie and they all happily say yes. This introduces the question "Would you like a pie?" and teaches students how to respond with "Yes, please" or "No, thank you". The story is accompanied by colorful illustrations, which help students understand the context and engage with the content.
After the story, students learn how to make polite requests using the question "Would you like...?" They practice asking their friends and classmates if they would like certain foods or drinks. This activity encourages students to interact with each other and practice their speaking skills. The teacher can also provide real or imaginary food items for students to practice with, making the activity more interactive and fun.
To reinforce the vocabulary and grammar, the unit includes various games and activities. For example, there is a matching game where students have to match pictures of food and drinks with their names. This helps students remember the vocabulary and associate the words with the corresponding images. There are also role-play activities where students take turns asking and answering the question "Would you like...?" This allows students to practice using the language in a realistic and meaningful way.
In addition to the language skills, the unit also focuses on developing students' cultural understanding. There is a section about traditional British food, where students learn about popular dishes like fish and chips and shepherd's pie. This not only broadens students' knowledge about different cultures but also helps them appreciate the diversity of food around the world.
Overall, Unit 7 of Yilin Primary School English 3A provides a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for students. Through stories, games, and activities, students learn how to express their preferences and make polite requests using the question "Would you like...?" They also develop their cultural understanding by learning about traditional British food. By the end of the unit, students will have a better grasp of the language and be able to confidently ask and answer the question "Would you like a pie?"

3A Unit7 Would you like a pie?
Unit7 Would you like a pie? 的Fun time, Cartoon time和 Rhyme time。 Would you like …? What about…? Yes, please./ No, thank you.
What do we need for picnics ?
