甲:在中国文学史上,我们能看到的最早的诗是距今三千年左右的《诗经》,这是我国最早的一部诗歌总集,一共三百零五篇,古称《诗》或《诗三百》。

A: 我们中国人见面打招呼时习惯说:您吃过了吗?(Have you eaten? / Have you had your meal?)或者说:您上哪去?(Where are you going? )。

B: 而英美人见面时如果是上午则说:Good morning. 如果是在下午则说:Good afternoon, 在傍晚就说:Good evening. 如果与熟人打招呼则说:How are you? 如果是与较熟的人或朋友打招呼则说:Hello, 或Hi.

A: 如果用我们中国人见面打招呼时常说的Have you eaten?去问候英美人,就会引起对方的误解,因为Have you eaten?在英语里不是打招呼用语,而是邀请对方去吃饭。

B: 如果见到英美人时说:Where are you going?他们会很不高兴。因为Where are you going?对英美人来说则是即干涉别人的私事。

A: 二、 Parting 告辞

到别人家串门或作客,告辞时,英美人习惯说:I should go now. 或 Id better be going now.意思都是我得走了。

英美人在告辞时从不说:ll go back.(我回去了。)或ll go first.(我先走了。)因为在英语里, ll go first.的意思是:时间不早了,客人们该离开了。我先走给大家起了头,其他客人也应该马上离去。

B:三、 Addressing People 称呼

平时,我们听到有些学生称呼老师为Teacher Wang(王老师),Teacher Li(李老师),即便对外籍教师也是如此称呼。其实这是不符合英美人习惯的。

在英语中,teacher不能用于称呼。那么怎么来称呼老师才符合英语习惯呢?一般来说,英美人称呼中小学的男老师为Sir,或Mr,女教师为Miss,如 Mr wang Miss Lin Miss Green.

K:Thanksgiving Day is the most truly American of the national Holidays in the United States and is most closely connected with the earliest history of the country.

P:In 1620, the Pilgrims, they sailed to America on the May flower, seeking a place where they could have freedom of worship. At last they landed in a place, where is now Plymouth, Massachusetts.

K:During their first winter, over half of the settlers died of starvation or epidemics. Those who survived began sowing in the first spring.

P:All summer long they waited for the harvests with great anxiety. Finally the fields produced a yield rich beyond expectations. And therefore it was decided that a day of thanksgiving to the Lord be fixed.

K:Years later, President of the United States proclaimed the fourth Thursday of November as Thanksgiving Day every year. The celebration of Thanksgiving Day has been observed on that date until today.

P:Thanksgiving today is, in every sense, a national annual holiday on which Americans of all faiths and backgrounds join in to express their thanks and ask for continued blessings.

I’d like to share something they eat on that day with you.

K:On the dinner table, people will find apples, oranges, chestnuts, walnuts and grapes. There will be plum pudding, mince pie, other varieties of food and cranberry juice and squash.

P:Hugo's father dies in a museum fire, and Hugo is taken away by his uncle, an alcoholic watchmaker who is responsible for maintaining the clocks in the railway station Gare Montparnasse. His uncle teaches him to take care of the clocks and then disappears. He is later discovered to have drowned.

K:Hugo lives between the walls of the station, maintaining the clocks, stealing food and working on his father's most ambitious project: repairing a broken automaton, a mechanical man who is supposed to write with a pen.

K:Hugo shows Georges' wife Jeanne the drawing made by the automaton, but she will not tell them anything and makes them hide in a room when Georges comes home.

P:While hiding, Isabelle and Hugo find a secret cabinet and accidentally release pictures and screen boards of Georges' creations just as Georges and Jeanne enter the room. Georges is upset and feels

betrayed.

K:Hugo and Isabelle find a book on the history of film and are surprised that the author, Rene Tabard, refers to Méliès as having died in World War I. Tabard himself appears, and the children tell him that Méliès is alive. Tabard, a devotee of Méliès' films, owns a copy of Voyage to the Moon...........................( 原声4 )

P:Hugo, Isabelle and Tabard go to Georges' home, and at first Jeanne tells them to go before her husband wakes. However Jeanne accepts their offer to show Voyage to the Moon when Tabard compliments her as one of the actresses in Georges' films.

K:While watching the film, Georges appears and explains how he came to make movies, invented the special effects, and how he lost faith in films when the World War I began, being forced to sell his films to get money, and opening the toy shop to survive. He also believes the automaton he created was lost in the museum fire and nothing left of his life's work.

P:Hugo goes back to the station to get the automaton to surprise Georges, but he is cornered by the station inspector and his dog. Hugo escapes and runs to the top of the clock tower and hides by climbing out onto the hands of the clock. Once the inspector is gone, he runs for the exit with the automaton, but he is trapped by the inspector and the automaton is thrown onto the railway tracks.

K:Climbing onto the tracks, Hugo is almost run over by an approaching train when the officer saves him and detains him as an orphan without a guardian. While Hugo pleads with the officer, Georges arrives and says Hugo is in his care. The officer lets him go.

P:At the end of the movie, Georges gets a tribute ceremony to his movies with Tabard announcing that some 80 films have been recovered and restored. Georges thanks Hugo for his actions and invites the audience to “follow his dreams”. ....................( 原声5 )

B.一、 Greetings 问候

我们中国人见面打招呼时习惯说:您吃过了吗?(Have you eaten? / Have you had your meal?)或者说:您上哪去?(Where are you going? )。而英美人见面时如果是上午则说:Good morning. 如果是在下午则说:Good afternoon, 在傍晚就说:Good evening. 如果与熟人打招呼则说:How are you? 如果是与较熟的人或朋友打招呼则说:Hello, 或Hi. 如果用我们中国人见面打招呼时常说的xxxHave you eaten?xxx去问候英美人,就会引起对方的误解,因为xxxHave you eaten?xxx在英语里不是打招呼用语,而是xxx邀请对方去吃饭xxx。如果见到英美人时说:xxxWhere are you

going?xxx他们会很不高兴。因为xxxWhere are you going?xxx对英美人来说则是xxx即干涉别人的私事。xxx

A.二、 Parting 告辞

到别人家串门或作客,告辞时,英美人习惯说:xxxI should go now.xxx 或 xxx Ixxxd better be going now.xxx意思都是xxx我得走了xxx。英美人在告辞时从不说:xxxIxxxll go back.xxx(我回去了。)或xxxIxxxll go first.xxx(我先走了。)因为在英语里, xxxIxxxll go first.xxx的意思是:xxx时间不早了,客人们该离开了。我先走给大家起了头,其他客人也应该马上离去。xxx

B.三、 Addressing People 称呼

The first TV serial I want to recommend to you is Super Natural. It’s the most popular supernatural TV serial in America. If you are a fan of American TV serials, you must have .heard of it. If you’re not, .Super Natural may make you one.

As what it is called, Super Natural is a story about haunting. Not haunting beasts of course, but the ghosts and all kind of freaks like demons, even angels. The main characters are the Winchesters, Dean Winchester and Sam Winchester. Dean is the elder brother, Sam is the younger one. The story begins with the missing of their father, John. Dean haunted with his father after Sam chose to give up the family business and went to college. To find their father, Dean asked Sam for help. At that time, Sam had a girlfriend and they had lived together already. Sam agreed to help Dean unwillingly because he hated the haunting life. On the way to find their dad, Sam and Dean solved a great deal of weird cases. But when Sam came back to his old apartment, he found his girlfriend dead—the same way his as his mother. To find the killer, Sam devoted himself to the old business together with Dean, following the leads their father left..

At the end of the first season, Sam and Dean found their father. However, he was possessed by the yellow-eye demon—the demon that killed their mother and Sam’s girlfriend. John asked Sam to kill him, but the demon escaped before Sam fired. John was angry and desperate about his sons letting that demon run away. Therefore, argument aroused. In the meantime, a car drove directly towards them. What happened? Let us move to the second season.

After the car accident, they were sent to the hospital. However, Dean was hurt too much that his soul left his body and the death tried to take him away. To save his son, John make a deal with a demon which cost his own life and the gun named Colt – the only thing can kill demons. Dean was back, but John was gone. The brothers were drowned into the sorrow. To ease the pain, they went on haunting. In the mean time, they found Sam had the ability to drive the demon out of the human. Nonetheless, Sam paid for it. Whenever he used his ability, his nose bleed and he would be hungry for the demon’s blood, The climax in this season is also at the end, Sam was brought to a town that gathered a group of people like him—had some special gift. They were asked to fight and only one would survive. It was all the yellow—eye demon’ s plot. B:我国素称礼仪之邦,其重视礼节程度不亚于欧美任何一国。但是由于中西风俗习惯有很大的差异,如果我们对此不了解,在与英美人进行交往时,就会引起对方的误会,发生不必要的误解。这里我仅把英美人在问候、告辞和称呼上的礼节习惯介绍给大家,以便有助于大家的英语学习和同外国朋友的交往。

一、 Greetings 问候

我们中国人见面打招呼时习惯说:您吃过了吗?(Have you eaten? / Have you had your meal?)或者说:您上哪去?(Where are you going? )。而英美人见面时如果是上午则说:Good morning. 如果是在下午则说:Good afternoon, 在傍晚就说:Good evening. 如果与熟人打招呼则说:How are you? 如果是与较熟的人或朋友打招呼则说:Hello, 或Hi. 如果用我们中国人见面打招呼时常说的“Have you eaten?”去问候英美人,就会引起对方的误解,因为“Have you eaten?”在英语里不是打招呼用语,而是“邀请对方去吃饭”。如果见到英美人时说:“Where are you going?”他们会很不高兴。因为“Where are you going?”对英美人来说则是“即干涉别人的私事。” A:二、 Parting 告辞

到别人家串门或作客,告辞时,英美人习惯说:“I should go now.” 或 “ I'd better be going now.”意思都是“我得走了”。英美人在告辞时从不说:“I'll go back.”(我回去了。)或“I'll go first.”(我先走了。)因为在英语里, “I'll go first.”的意思是:“时间不早了,客人们该离开了。我先走给大家起了头,其他客人也应该马上离去。”

B:三、 Addressing People 称呼

平时,我们常听到学生称呼老师为“Teacher Wang”(王老师),“Teacher Li”(李老师),即便对外籍教师也是如此称呼。其实这是不符合英美人习惯的。

在英语中,“teacher”不能用于称呼。那么怎么来称呼老师才符合英语习惯呢?一般来说,英美人称呼中小学的男老师为“Sir”,或Mr,女教师为“Miss”,如 Mr wang Miss zhang Miss Green

甲:今天我们就一起来聊聊中西风俗习惯有很大的差异。我国素称礼仪之邦,其重视礼节程度不亚于欧美任何一国。但是由于中西风俗习惯有很大的差异,如果我们对此不了解,在与英美人进行交往时,就会引起对方的误会,发生不必要的误解。今天我们就把英美人在问候上的礼节习惯介绍给大家,以便有助于大家的英语学习和同外国朋友的交往。

乙:我们中国人见面打招呼时习惯说:您吃过了吗?(Have you eaten? / Have you had your meal?)或者说:您上哪儿去?(Where are you going? )。而英美人见面时如果是上午则说:Good morning. 如果是在下午则说:Good afternoon, 在傍晚就说:Good evening. 如果与熟人打招呼则说:How are you? 如果是与较熟的人或朋友打招呼则说:Hello, 或Hi. 如果用我们中国人见面打招呼时常说的“Have you eaten?”去问候英美人,就会引起对方的误解,因为“Have you eaten?”在英语里不是打招呼用语,而是“邀请对方去吃饭”。如果见到英美

人时说:“Where are you going?”他们会很不高兴。因为“Where are you going?”对英美人来说则是“即干涉别人的私事。”

二、 Parting 告辞

到别人家串门或作客,告辞时,英美人习惯说:

“I should go now.” 或 “ I'd better be going now.”意思都是“我得走了”。英美人在告辞时从不说:“I'll go back.”(我回去了。)或“I'll go first.”(我先走了。)因为在英语里, “I'll go first.”的意思是:“时间不早了,客人们该离开了。我先走给大家起了头,其他客人也应该马上离去。”

:三、 Addressing People 称呼平时,我们常听到学生称呼老师为

“Teacher Wang”(王老师),“Teacher Li”(李老师),即便对外籍教师也是如此称呼。其实这是不符合英美人习惯的。在英语中,“teacher”不能用于称呼。那么怎么来称呼老师才符合英语习惯呢?一般来说,英美人称呼中小学的男老师为“Sir”,或Mr,女教师为“Miss”,如 Mr wang Miss zhang Miss Green

我国素称礼仪之邦,其重视礼节程度不亚于欧美任何一国。但是由于中西风俗习惯有很大的差异,如果我们对此不了解,在与英美人进行交往时,就会引起对方的误会,发生不必要的误解。这里我仅把英美人在问候、告辞和称呼上的礼节习惯介绍给大家,以便有助于大家的英语学习和同外国朋友的交往。

B.一、 Greetings 问候

我们中国人见面打招呼时习惯说:您吃过了吗?(Have you eaten? / Have you had your meal?)或者说:您上哪去?(Where are you going? )。而英美人见面时如果是上午则说:Good morning. 如果是在下午则说:Good afternoon, 在傍晚就说:Good evening. 如果与熟人打招呼则说:How are you?

如果是与较熟的人或朋友打招呼则说:Hello, 或Hi. 如果用我们中国人见面打招呼时常说的“Have you eaten?”去问候英美人,就会引起对方的误解,因为“Have you eaten?”在英语里不是打招呼用语,而是“邀请对方去吃饭”。如果见到英美人时说:“Where are you

going?”他们会很不高兴。因为“Where are you going?”对英美人来说则是“即干涉别人的私事。”

A.二、 Parting 告辞

到别人家串门或作客,告辞时,英美人习惯说:“I should go now.” 或 “ I'd better be going now.”意思都是“我得走了”。英美人在告辞时从不说:“I'll go back.”(我回去了。)或“I'll go first.”(我先走了。)因为在英语里, “I'll go first.”的意思是:“时间不早了,客人们该离开了。我先走给大家起了头,其他客人也应该马上离去。”

B.三、 Addressing People 称呼

平时,我们常听到学生称呼老师为“Teacher Wang”(王老师),“Teacher Li”(李老师),即便对外籍教师也是如此称呼。其实这是不符合英美人习惯的。在英语中,“teacher”不能用于称呼。那么怎么来称呼老师才符合英语习惯呢?一般来说,英美人称呼中小学的男老师为“Sir”,或Mr,女教师为“Miss”,如 Mr wang Miss zhang Miss Green

听了这个笑话,你可别只顾着笑啊,要听懂还要流利正确地说出英语可不是件容易的事吧,千万不能一个单词一个单词地对照着中文意思翻译,那是会闹笑话的.喔,同样的词语在不同的句子里会有不同的意思呢。不仅是语言,我们国家和西方国家在文化背景上也有着巨大的差异。

b:下面就请听英语知识园地节目

提起fish,它给人们的第一印象便是指“鱼”,实际上它的用法并非如此简单。fish用作可数名词指“鱼的条数”时单数和复数形式相同(twofish两条鱼),然而指“鱼的种类”时复数形式才为fishes(twofishes两种鱼);

a:fish用作不可数名词时无复数形式,应作“鱼肉”解释(.随便吃些鱼。);

b:fish用作动词时,它的含义又与“钓(捕)鱼”有关(gofishing去钓鱼)。

在英语口语里,fish还常常被用来指“人”,类似于汉语里的“家伙、东西”等。如:apoorfish(可怜虫),abigfish(大亨),acoolfish(无耻之徒),astrangefish(奇人、怪人)等。但必须注意的是,fish用来指人时形象虽然鲜明,但往往含有贬义。
