Strengths:

  本学期,我担任三—六年级的英语教学工作,结合本校的实际条件和学生的实际情况,在工作中从各方面严格要求自己,勤勤恳恳,兢兢业业,使教学工作有计划,有组织,有步骤地开展。立足现在,放眼未来,为使今后的工作取得更大的进步,现对本学期教学工作做出总结,希望能发扬优点,克服不足,继往开来。

  一、做到了认真备课。不但备学生而且备教材备教法,根据教材内容及学生小班教学的实际,针对不同年级教学目标的不同:让三四年级学生在培养兴趣的基础上训练学生认读单词的能力,还让学生试着模仿教材书写单词;让五六年级在保持兴趣的基础上学习新知识,加大听写单词的力度。设计课的类型,拟定采用的教学方法,并对教学过程的程序及时间安排都作了详细的记录,认真写好教案。对每一课都做到“有备而来”,课后及时对该课做出总结,写好教学后记。

  二、增强上课技能,提高教学质量,使讲解清晰化,准确化,情感化,生动化,做到线索清晰,层次分明,深入浅出。在课堂上特别注意调动学生的积极性,加强师生交流,充分体现学生的主作用,基本做到了让学生学得容易,学得轻松,学得愉快;注意精讲精练,在课堂上我讲得尽量少,让学生有更多动口动手动脑的机会;同时在每一堂课上都充分考虑每一个层次的学生学习需求和学习能力,让各个层次的学生都得到提高。现在学生普遍反映喜欢上英语课,尤其是五年级的学生。

  三、虚心请教。由于学校英语师资力量的缺乏,平日在网上搜索名师课堂展示,有机会到杭州进行听课,学习他们的方法,学习别人的优点,克服自己的不足。

  四、认真批改作业:布置作业做到精读精练。有针对性,有层次性。对学生的作业批改及时、认真,分析并记录学生的作业情况,将他们在作业过程出现的问题做出分类总结,进行透彻的评讲,并针对有关情况及时改进教学方法,做到有的放矢。对于四个年级的学生,培养小组长帮助我检查其他学生朗读、背诵课文。

  五、坚持用英语组织课堂教学。目前,由于课堂仍是绝大部分学生学习英语、使用英语唯一的方式和场所,我坚持多用英语与学生交流,为学生营造良好的学习语言的环境。具体做法是:

  1.给每一个学生起英语名字。尤其是三年级和五年级学生,经过两个个学期的训练,每个人都能说并写出自己的英文名字。在课堂上用英文名字来点名,叫学生回答问题。

  2.用英语组织课堂教学。课堂教学用语尽管大部分相同,我注意不断适量增加新用语,逐步扩大用语量,使学生保持兴趣,经历挑战,从而日积月累,在不知不觉中得到提高。

  3.用英语授课。不管上对话课还是课文课,我都坚持使用英语。尽量采用学生学过的词汇,但难免有不少学生不懂的词汇,如在用英语介绍课文背景知识时,这时辅之于实物、挂图、简笔画、表情、手势、表演等,或者借助板书形式加以说明。总之,注意所用的语言略高于学生现有水平。

  4.力求自己的语音、语调、语言规范和准确,并根据不同年级的学生我就调整语速的快慢。

  六、在这一学期的教学工作中,除了对三四年级的学生进行兴趣的培养外,对于五六年级的学生,培养他们自学的能力,而且对于优秀生还要求他们背诵课文,鼓励他们自己找阅读的材料,从而提高阅读能力,为日后长久学习打下良好的基础。

  经过一个学期的努力,期末考试就是一种考验,无论成绩高低,都体现了我在这学期的教学成果。我明白到这并不是最重要的,重要的是在下个学期如何自我提高,如何共同提高所教年级的英语水平。因此,无论怎样辛苦,我都会继续努力,争取进步。
