Title: Exciting Activities in the Elementary Fun English Club
Hello everyone! Welcome to the first edition of our Fun English Club newsletter. We are excited to share with you the amazing activities we have been doing in the past month.
In our club, we believe that learning English can be fun and enjoyable. To make this happen, we organize various activities that engage students and help them practice their English skills in a relaxed and interactive environment.
One of the highlights of the past month was our "English Movie Night." We transformed our club meeting room into a mini cinema, complete with popcorn and comfortable seating. Students had the opportunity to watch an English movie with subtitles, allowing them to improve their listening and reading skills. After the movie, we had a discussion in English about the plot, characters, and their favorite scenes. It was a great way to enhance their speaking and comprehension abilities.
Another exciting activity was our "English Drama Workshop." We invited a professional drama coach to guide our students in creating and performing their own short English skits. Students were able to unleash their creativity while practicing their English speaking and pronunciation. They learned how to express emotions, use body language, and deliver dialogues confidently. The workshop concluded with a spectacular performance, where parents and teachers were invited to watch and applaud their achievement.
In addition to these activities, we also organize regular English games, such as spelling bees, word puzzles, and vocabulary quizzes. These games not only make learning English enjoyable but also help students expand their vocabulary and improve their spelling and grammar.
We are proud of the progress our students have made and the enthusiasm they have shown in participating in our club activities. We believe that by providing a fun and engaging environment, we can inspire students to develop a lifelong love for the English language.

Greetings to all the members of the Fun English Club! We are delighted to present the second edition of our club newsletter, where we will share the inspiring English workshops we have conducted recently.
At the Fun English Club, we aim to provide our students with unique learning experiences that go beyond the traditional classroom setting. Our workshops are designed to spark creativity, boost confidence, and enhance English language skills.
One of the workshops that received tremendous positive feedback was the "Storytelling Workshop." We invited a professional storyteller who captivated our students with fascinating tales in English. The workshop not only improved their listening and comprehension skills but also inspired their imagination and encouraged them to create their own stories. The students were then given the opportunity to share their stories with the group, allowing them to practice their speaking skills and receive feedback from their peers.
Another memorable workshop was the "English Songwriting Workshop." We collaborated with a talented musician who guided our students in writing their own English songs. The workshop unleashed their creativity while improving their vocabulary and grammar. Students learned about song structure, rhyming, and expressing their thoughts and emotions through lyrics. The workshop concluded with a mini-concert where students performed their original songs, showcasing their newfound English language skills.
In addition to these workshops, we also organized a "Cultural Exchange Workshop" where students learned about different English-speaking countries. They had the opportunity to explore the history, traditions, and customs of countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Through interactive activities, students practiced their English language skills while gaining a deeper understanding of different cultures.
We are proud of the enthusiasm and dedication our students have shown in participating in these workshops. We firmly believe that by providing them with diverse and inspiring learning opportunities, we can nurture their passion for the English language and help them become confident global citizens.

一、活动背景
随着时代的发展，民族逐渐融合，地球村也越来越小.如何使中国与国际社会进行更好的交流，促进彼此的发展，是当代中国大学生不可推卸的责任。而英语作为世界上使用最广泛的语言，在国际的交流中自然起着至关重要的作用。所以，英语水平已成为衡量当代大学生素质的基本标准之一。其中，英语口语更显得尤为重要，并且我国早已将英语列为大学生们的必修课程之一。但是，许多人现今大学生的英语素质的评价并不高，听、说、读、写、考能力中只具备考字。他们认为许多大学生虽然考试能取得高分，却听不懂，说不清，读不畅，写不出原汁原味的英语。究其原因，大学生们没有一个很好的学习英语的环境，更没有自信去大声的说英语可见，英语的综合运用能力在当今生活和学习中显得越来越重要了。因此，本次举办的首届闽南理工学院英语演讲比赛，不仅能够积极配合好闽南理工学院首届科技文化艺术节的活动，也能很好的提高大学生们的英语口语水平，提供一个可以展现自我，激励他人的舞台，并且加强在校大学生的竞争意识。同时，也为一些非英语专业的英语爱好者提供了与外教和知名专家进行面对面交流的机会，让他们找到学习语言的灵感，为今后学习英语打下更好的基础。
二、活动内容
活动主题：闽南理工学院首届***英语演讲比赛或：

5、通过举办活动，为广大英语爱好者提供一个互相交流和学习的机会。

2、比赛流程
比赛由二部分组成：一，先进行命题演讲(限时3分钟)，命题演讲结束后，评委提问12个问题，选手回答限时1分钟。二，即兴演讲(选手准备3秒，回答限时2分钟);其中命题演讲是参赛者围绕我们的主题在比赛前选好文章进行演讲。即兴演讲是现场抽题现场回答。评委们用英语提问，可以是与主题有关的或是演讲者在演讲过程中涉及的问题或是评委感兴趣的问题，参赛者用英文回答，这考察了选手们的应变能力和对英语的运用能力。
3、评分标准：(满分1分)
●仪表形象：(2分)
1)着装整齐，大方得体。(1分)
2)姿态自然，动作适度。(1分)
●演讲内容：(5分)
3)主题鲜明，符合主题内容。(25分)
4)内容充实，事例动人，贴近生活，富有鲜明的时代感。(15分)
5)行文流畅，用词精练，详略得当。(1分)
●语言艺术：(3分)
6)发音标准，流利。(1分)
7)节奏处理得当，技巧运用自如。(1分)
8)表现力、应变能力强，能活跃气氛，引起高潮。(1分)
评分规则：
评委明确给出每部分评分(评分为整数)，由工作人员进行最后加总，去掉最高分与最低分，取平均分为选手比赛成绩，按成绩排名分别获一、二、三等奖和优秀奖。

在我们的精心的准备与筹措中，终于迎来了六一那天。我又是活动的参与者，又是如意社区的一份子，拥有着双重身份，那天早早的带女儿到了活动场地，只是心里一直有着一份担忧，因为看天气预报说今天是雷阵雨转阵雨，要是下雨就要改在室内了。在室内显得有些拥挤和闷热，这么好的活动真有点遗憾在心头。谁知道，在活动就要开始前天空竟然放开了，雨停了，我们大家的心情顿时随着天空放晴了，孩子们也都欢呼雀跃，老天也为孩子们的节日来祝贺了，真是应验了李老师的那句话“你们福气好的！”真是吉言啊！活动如期在原来的地方开始，开场的集体舞老师家长共同参与跳的火热，精彩的节目一个接一个。在节目表演的过程中还有一些小插曲，音乐剧的小主角大公鸡在演出开始后闹肚子，不得不中途上厕所，节目往后移；在跳《北京的金山上》时我们的小演员因为地滑连着摔了几跤后忍不住哭泣了一下后仍然上场把舞蹈跳完，勇气可嘉。节目完了游戏继续，在游戏中社区与我们的孩子好好的参与了一番，凭借着自己的实力贴到了红星领到了奖品，孩子们的脸上都是喜孜孜的，我们的家长更是为了这次活动出了大力，帮助运东西，帮助老师维护游戏的秩序。通过这样的活动，进一步拉近了幼儿园与社区的距离，同时也把我们园的健康特色，艺术特色的理念向外渗透。
想想我们每年都还能跟着孩子一起过儿童节，心里还真偷偷的乐呢！所以六一儿童节是我们与孩子们的共同节日！

了使我们的校园更加清洁、文明，加强学生道德素质、行为习惯教育，以良好的行为展现学生的形象。法律系青年志愿者在这热情洋溢的三月，开展了此次活动。青年志愿者积极响应，3月11日志愿者们利用课余时间到图书馆后面产地、草坪等地，捡拾垃圾，为大家创造了美好环境。
20**年3月11日，计划订于下午2点，法律系部分青年志愿者集合于图书馆后门，准备开展此项活动。2点未到，志愿者们早已集合完毕，由各自小队长带领，到附近场地、草坪捡拾垃圾。
志愿者们热情似火，活动积极，不怕脏、不怕累，活动面积也逐渐扩大。()2个多小时后，周围的垃圾已经基本上被清除干净。有负责人拍照留念。活动后，志愿者们又集合于图书馆后门，服务队大队长做了最后的活动总结。
时代在变迁，雷锋精神已经有了更多的诠释。也许我们的行为微不足道，也许我们的'行为并不引人瞩目，但我们洒下的辛勤汗水一定会收获更多的成果！让我们携起手来，从我做起，从身边做起，让成千上万个雷锋成长起来，让雷锋精神永放光芒！让我们的校园“人人学雷锋，天天学雷锋，时时有雷锋”！

为迎接8月8日“全面健身日”的到来，清河公安分局于8月3日上午组织开展了20**年“健步走”活动。全局民警、辅警共100余人参加了活动。
为确保“健步走”活动顺利进行，分局提前对“健步走”活动行走路线、时间进行了仔细的勘查、计算，研究制定了实施方案。此次活动以“增强民警体质、建设平安中国”为主题，以“参与全警健身、乐享低碳生活” 宣传口号，以“形象第一、安全第一”为总目标。
上午8时50分，分局“健步走”活动队伍从分局门口出发，由局长孙国太同志率领局班子成员带队，沿着文化路、尚阳大道步行，最后于上午10点20分回到分局，共行走4公里。
活动中，分局民警、辅警始终以严谨的警容和警姿，以健康、积极向上的状态参加“健步走”活动，充分展现了分局民警、辅警良好的精神面貌，得到了全区人民的一致好评，在群众中树立了人民警察良好的形象。
