一、学生情况
二年级学生，属于低段，已经初步掌握了一些学习用品，生活用品，身体部位，交通工具，动物种类和水果种类的单词，能够用英语进行一些简单的日常生活对话。合理和生理年龄都比较小，对形象感观的物体感兴趣，容易激活。
二、教材情况
1．本课主要句型在前面几堂课中已经有所提及，学生对这个句型相对来说已经比较熟悉，在这堂课中，教师需注意学生的语音语调并加强训练。
2．出现了一个新句型Its for you.以及新的`特殊疑问词why，但教师不用做语法上的详细解释，学生只需了解它的意思和使用场合并且学会使用即可。

三、教具准备
教师准备：各种形状的名片，几盘水果拼盘，牙签，VCD，水果刀，一次性创可贴（安全防范）；学生准备：自己设计的名片，带水果和食物。

等。教师向学生介绍自己，并拿着鱼形状的名片说：“This is my card. What's this in English？”鱼形状的名片背后不涂颜色，使学生对这个形状不能一目了然，而只能根据自己的想象作出判断。等学生得出正确答案后，教师再自己的名片送给学生，并说：“ It’s for you．学生也将自己的名片形状进行提问,并且送给教师，教师把学生的名片贴在good friends一栏。
【教学思想：这一环节通过师生间介绍，利用自己设计的名片引出“What's this in English？和 It’s for you．两个句型。要求学生根据名片的形状自己发挥想象，并做出判断，这一点重在训练学生的发散性思维以及观察能力。而句型“It’s for you.”在这里自然而然的引出，水道渠成，不显得突兀。学生在这一环节先听再说。从熟悉到练习，有一个循环渐进的过程。而自己的设计名片，并将设计的名片送人，这都是学生感兴趣并乐于尝试的事情。】
