Lesson 1 My classroom 同福中心小学 钱丹萍 一. Teaching Aims Let the students master the words: window, classroom, floor, light, door, board, and picture. When they see the objects, they can recognize ,read them and do the actions about them. 二. Teaching Aids A bloom, a piece of cloth, some picture of the new words A board-wiper and a tape- recorder. 三. Important points Picture, classroom, window, board and blackboard 四.Teaching steps 1 Greetings (1)Listen to a song : The days of the week Let students sing with the tape (2)The teacher ( T ) asks the question : “What day is it today?” The student ( S ) answers : “Today is Monday.” T: Do you like Mondays?…… S:…… Then the question: “What’s the weather like today?” (3)Then practise : T&Ss , S1&S2 2 New content The teacher reads the words like that the classroom, the windows, the door, the floor, the board and the lights in English one by one. Then the teacher asks students to read after him. T:“ What’s in the classroom?” Choose several students who knows the answers to answer by using the words they’re just learned. The teacher shows the cards of the words while the students are answering. Then the teacher points at the card and asks the students to read after her one by one. 3 Group work One student asks the question and the others answer. Then the teacher asks some groups to show the work. 4 Practice The teacher hands the cards of the bloom, the piece of cloth, the picture and the board-wiper to the students and asks them to read after her. Then the students listen to the tape while the teacher is doing the actions: opening the door, turn on the light, sweep the floor, clean the window, put up the picture and clean the board. Then the teacher does the actions again and asks students t

o follow. After that, choose several pairs of students to do it like her. Listen to the tape and read after it. During this period the teacher says something about the verbs like open, turn, sweep, clean and put. For example :open the window ,turn on the fan , clean the board… 5 Let some students say some words, and others do the actions. 五.
